Goodbye TP, Hello TP2!

by Mike B. on October 30, 2009

Have you visited the APP STORE today? Check out the latest games, tools, and programs HERE!

Sprint-HTC-Touch-Pro-2I finally received my TP2 through the much controversial TP-TP2 exchange policy from Sprint.  It was a NIB (new in box) order and I am loving every minute of it.  While I was leaving the store I overheard the reps talking about how the WEL list was leaked online, so it looks like Sprint is aware of this (like they weren’t already before).  I am not sure how that will affect future exchanges but things maybe a bit tougher now.  Any who, now that I have the TP2 I have been searching for ROMs and apps for it all day.  The only thing is I am waiting for the HSPL to be released.

From what I could find about the HSPL, it has been hinted at being release numerous times before today and actually was supposed to be released today according to the most recent gossip.  Well as of the time I write this post it is still unavailable.  I am following pretty closely the release of the CDMA Unlocker so I will be sure to keep you updated.

Once I get word of the release, I will both make a post on the site and drop an email blast out to everybody to ensure they are alerted and can get their device unlocked.  I plan on updating the site with the GSM HSPL as well and that may end up happening before the CDMA simply because the GSM is already out.  So look forward to the GSM post later today and (hopefully) the CDMA HSPL as well!
