Where there is a will, there is a way! While perusing twitter today I came across the picture above of Android running on the Touch Pro 2. Yes your eyes are not fooling you. That is in fact Android 1.6/2.0 running. So I began to immediately dig for further information and what I found is below.

This page serves to track the Android porting progress to the HTC Rhodium (Touch Pro2). These builds are for primarily for development purposes, and are not for everyday use. There are significant problems affecting usability which must be fixed first. Please be patient with the developers; they are making leaps and bounds every day, but a full Linux kernel and Android port will take time.
So as you can see it is not yet available for the masses to put on their Touch Pro 2’s but this is definitely a step in the right direction. With a little more time and effort on the developer’s part we will all have the option on which we would like to run. I will be posting more on this as developments are made so keep an eye out.
