It has been quite the task to find information about Windows Mobile 7 but Microsoft CFO Peter Clein was kind enough to give the community some information to hold them over for a while.  Check out the news and video below.

While everyone at Microsoft seems to be hush-hush about Windows Mobile 7, Peter Clein, CFO of Microsoft, finally gave us some information. In an interview with Fox, he was asked “Are we going to see Windows 7 Mobile come out in 2010? What is your plans for that?” His response was “We are heads down working on Windows Mobile 7 . We will have much more to say about that at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February.”

He didn’t confirm a 2010 release date, but he did say that there would be more information for us at the Mobile World Congress.
