Cell phones have become such an important part of everyday life for most people. I did not realize this fact until I saw an HTC commercial, but my cell phone really is the last thing I see when I go to sleep and the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning. With being said choosing mobile phones is now probably one of the most important decisions you have to make when it comes to purchasing any tech gadget. So how do you know what to look for?
It kills me to see people with smartphones that do not even use the email feature. When I used to work at Radioshack in the past this was way too prevalent. I could not understand why people would dish out $500+ for a phone and do not even utilize all the features. When you get ready to look at buying a new phone you need to take into account these few things:
- Will you be using email
- Are you a big text message user
- Is a physical keyboard more important than a touch screen
- What type of media use do you anticipate using
- How often will you use the camera
Those are all key selling points that separate most phone models from others. If you know you are not big on email on your phone, then do not get it. If you already have an mp3, why waste time spending extra money on a phone with that feature knowing you will not use it. If you take into account the things I mentioned above when purchasing your phone, I can guarantee you will enjoy it much more. You will have only the features that you actually use at your disposal and will not have to confuse yourself learning about features which hold now importance to you.
