Reboot is one program that I end up using at least 3 times a day. Since you have to remove the battery cover whenever you would like to perform a soft reset, having the ability to reset at the touch of an on screen button is something that I feel should come standard with the phone.

The app can be found in the windows mobile marketplace and at the time when I downloaded it was free. Although I just recently checked and it said it was $0.99 but further down in the description it said it was free so who knows. But regardless this is a very useful app and even at $0.99 I feel it is worth the buy.

Slacker Radio Download For WVGA

A PPCGeeks user has pulled the cab from the T-Mobile HD2 ROM for Slacker Radio. It is said to work good on WVGA devices, but feedback on how it works on other resolutions (VGA, QVGA, etc) is appreciated. For those unfamiliar with Slacker, it is an internet radio service available in the US and Canada. You will need a free account at Slacker Radio to use this cab so be sure to sign up before downloading.

Want to Add a Call History Tab to TF3d?

I have not tried this out yet but on paper it looks like it could come in handy. It has yet not been perfected and is for TF3d Sense 2.1. Check it out the rest of the specs and see what you think.

OK now that you read the title let me start with the limitations. It is for TF3D Sense 2.1 right now and only in WVGA. It is, as the title suggests, a call history tab. It’s a great tab to have and I hope that we can get this in TF3D 2.5 and in VGA. If you’re interested in this you can check out this thread in XDA. Of course, if you want to join in and help to modify the files for VGA or 2.5 I won’t stop you:)

For those who are interested in getting Android running on your WM device, or the few that already have it this dual boot launcher app should come in handy for you.

Do you hate having to boot into Windows just to launch Android? Developers at XDA have announced dual boot launcher that is available now for QVGA (Vogue), VGA (Diamond, Touch Pro), and WVGA (Blackstone, Topaz, Xperia, etc). You must have Android installed and working on the root of your SD card (or internal memory for you Diamond users).

StedySoft Provisioning App. Both Useful and Effective!

PPCGeeks brought to light this very handy application today. It seems the app was created by one of their forum members. In a nutshell, the app is an extension to the ROM that allows you to choose your carrier’s provisioning at boot, rather having to hunt it down yourself as a user from another method or source. Not sure what that means? Well continue reading and the usefulness of this app will become more apparent.

Tired of hunting down the right carrier update and provisions, or even just navigating your newly flashed ROM to find those provisions?

Fear no more, perhaps try this interesting new tool , straight out of the forums here @ PPCGeeks.com.

Forum user eboelzner from PPCGeeks.com has released his newest provision addition for Chefs and Cooks everywhere. It is an Extension to the ROM that allows you to choose your carrier’s provisioning at boot, rather having to hunt it down yourself as a user from another method or source.

From noticing a lack of updating on JMZ’s own tool, he felt to take off where he was, and to move forward from there. He offers simple editing of the extension through the files provided.
