Marvel vs Capcom Caught Running on Touch Pro!

It is becoming more common these days to see arcade games running on mobile phones. Most of them have horrible controls and really are not that funtional at all. They are more for the bragging rights I guess because lets be real. To see Sonic or Mario running on your phone is just cool. Well today I stumbled upon a video of Marvel Vs Capcom running on a Touch Pro!

If you know anything about me that is one of if not my favorite game of all time (well MvC2 is). With that being said, I do not see how anybody could get any halfway decent matches played on this phone. I have Sonic on my Touch Pro 2 and those controls are unbearable at times. To play something as complex as Marvel vs Capcom on the Touch Pro will really take some patience. I can say one thing positive about this though, it does look great and run very smoothly on the phone. Check out the video and see for yourself.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 by SEGA Review

Yesterday I grabbed Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and have a few things to say about it. Now although the game is visually beautiful and has all the features that make Sonic who he is, it has terrible controls. Although, so far the game plays exactly as it is supposed to.

Granted I have only had the game fro one day, but using the stylus is pretty difficult to get used to . Also the lack of playing in landscape mode is very disappointing. I would not recommend this unless you are really just a die hard Sonic fan and have no issues with the controls.

This is by far the most addictive game I own! I have been playing for the majority of the day and cannot stop. Tower Defense easily has the smoothest game play of all my other games on my Touch Pro 2.

Monopoly: Here & Now Review

Ever since I received the TP2 I have been desperately trying to find apps, games, and themes for it. Normally I am not big on cell phone games because I did not like anything unnecessarily draining my battery but I decided to give some games a shot this time. I figured I might as well get all the use of my device and have something to do in my downtime. Well I went ahead and purchase Monopoly: Here and Now and am in love with this game!

Before even purchasing this game I had to decide on whether to get this version or the Classic. I had never played Here and Now before so I figured I might as well try something new. It is basically the game updated for todays standards (thus the Hear and Now name) with properties costing millions instead of hundreds and more relevant property names to fit in with the times (airports instead of railroads and Times Square instead of Boardwalk).

The graphics are refreshing and has some nice board animations. You can play up to 4 opponents with them being either human, computer, or a mix of both. There are three difficulties to choose from which are easy, medium, or hard and I usually end up playing medium. Besides that it is the same monopoly game that we have all grown to love. It was a bit amused by some of the things they made for Chance and Community Chest. Two card that stands out in my mind is “You have been caught for Internet Fraud. Go Directly to Jail, do not pass go” or “You have been cast in a reality show, Collect 200k”.

If you are a fan of Monopoly or are just l0oking for a fun game then definitely check this out. It cost $9.95 in the app store which you can check out HERE. I really have nothing negative to say about this game and to my surprise it was very forgiving on my battery life. The game did not drain my battery anywhere near what I was expecting which is a huge plus in my book.

Description:
Numpty Physics is a physics game for Windows Mobile phones. The purpose of the game is to get the red ball towards the yellow star.You can use the stylus to create new objects that you can fling around using the game’s built-in physics engine.

It works fine with Asus MyPal A696 and the emulator. Only QVGA version.

Usage:
- UP: previous level.
- DOWN: Next level..
- RIGHT: restart animation.
- LEFT: seems to exit the game.
- Centre button: nothing happens.

Some additional levels can be found on the internet .

The Numpty Physics2.cab file (1.2 MB, mirror here) should is working on HTC Touch Diamond which has Qualcomm chipset, maybe it’ll work for you guys with “Not a valid pocket PC application”.
