The rumors about Windows Mobile 7 not being backwards compatible can now be put to a rest. Source have come out to say this is not true an older Windows Mobile apps will be compatible with WM 7.

According to PPCGeeks, Microsoft plans to launch Windows Mobile 6.6 in February 2010. With that happening, it is speculated that Microsoft may now delay the launch of Windows Mobile 7 till 2011 opposed to the previously scheduled 2010 launch.
